Save the Monarch Butterflies!

Plant milkweed!
- The leaves are food for caterpillers.
- Bees and butterflies love the nectar.
- Milkweed is pretty and they smell nice.
- They come back every spring.
Don’t plant invasive species!
- E.g. tiger lillies, butterfly bushes, Japanese spiraea, purple loosestrife
- Our native insects don't recognize them.
- Invasive plants will spread uncontrollably.
